Shelby is the glue that holds the entire Scuba Techie family of businesses together. Quirky, witty, and equipped with the kind of humor that keeps long days running smoothly, she brings balance, structure, and sanity to a set of operations that never slow down. Whether it’s managing logistics, keeping the team organized, or making sure Dene doesn’t lose his mind, Shelby is the quiet force behind almost everything that gets done at Scuba Techie and at The Overhead Environment.

Her passion, however, lies in one very specific corner of the ocean: LIONFISH. Shelby is fascinated by everything related to them—biology, behavior, impact, and especially removal. She is actively working toward becoming a lionfish hunting instructor and will soon be leading lionfish hunting trips in the Gulf aboard the Scuba Techie boat. Her enthusiasm for conservation and invasive-species management brings a unique and much-needed dimension to the team.
